      When it comes to retaining walls, it's what you don’t see matters most. At Huntersville Hardscapes, we build new retaining walls—and we repair a surprising number of walls that weren’t built properly the first time.

     A retaining wall is only as strong as the engineering and preparation behind it. Proper excavation, foundation, drainage and reinforcement are critical to a wall that will perform as it should for years to come.

    Beware of the lowest-quote trap. Much of the real value of a retaining wall is in what you don’t see once the project is finished. Cutting corners below ground may lower the initial price, but it can lead to leaning, shifting or failure—and an expensive rebuild down the road.  A beautiful wall is important. Building it right from the ground up is essential.
